Who did it? Sergey and Luda. What did they do? Became the fourth couple who decided to unite their destinies in 2012.

Another surprise was waiting for "Salvation" church on the eve of Christmas: the birth of a new Christian family, Sergey and Luda. This was yet another confirmation of God's love, mercy, and patience.

An interesting conversation is always a pleasure. And an interesting conversation with a wise and competent person is not only fun, but also useful.

While the world anxiously awaits the sudden demise of humanity, the pastors of the Baptist Churches of the Poltava region decided to take advantage of the general excitement and gave the regional youth conference an apocalyptic theme.

A cold night in late autumn, hot tea, poetry, music, romantic atmosphere - all of this was combined in one meeting of the SMS Club. The meeting was very different from all the previous ones, thanks to the participation of the young Poltava poets Lubov Goncharenko, Dennis Stern, Roman Povzyk and Andrei Konovalov, who were happy to share their creativity with us.

The title of the article describes the problem of youth ministry, and not only in Salvation Church, though I would like to focus on the analysis of the situation is in our church. Salvation Church, in my opinion, is a very dynamic church; focused and proactive. With a lot of ministries. With a large percentage of people under 28 years of age among its members and involved in various ministries, including SMS-club and teams involved in floorball, Ultimate Frisbee, English club, children's ministry, camp, etc.

On a dreary, rainy autumn day, on October 30th, we had a cozy SMS club :) A lot of music, smiles, new friends, delicious cookies and important truths.

When elected representatives sit in their plenary session, they calculate the efficiency of annual budgets and review the volume of the harvest. We at Salvation Church, however, look at different statistics.

Salvation Church recently celebrated thanksgiving for the harvest. Although there is no direct evidence in the New Testament that a thanksgiving as such was celebrated, still it is always appropriate to thank God for physical and spiritual blessings. The message that we heard from the preachers, the singers and the recitations of children reminded all those at the service of the countless blessings that we continually receive from God, and of the need for fruit in our earthly lives, for which we will have to give account before the Creator.

At the end of the summer, August 24-26 in Melitopol the international floorball tournament SKALA SUMMER CUP 2012 was held. Our team, the Poltava «Biters», was there. We were able to prove ourselves worthy of the honor and demonstrated a high level of preparation.
