What's the worst pain? Most people will answer: "Toothache!" But if you think about it, there are other things that hurt worse than a toothache. How can you tell if someone is in pain? A grimace on the face, tears in the eyes, sweat on the forehead, and so on. But there is another kind of pain, where the eyes become vacant and the gaze becomes unfocused, where the heart becomes heavy, not from physical spasms, but from a hurting soul. Not many people talk about it out loud. Why? The answer is simple - no pharmacy has the medicine to treat this pain!

Some people try to drown out the pain in different ways - some try alcohol, or drugs, or work, or entertainment. None of these things will take the pain away. It subsides for a while, only to return worse than before and this time in the form of physical illness. It's sad that many of us don't address the question of the soul in the early stages, and instead let it go to the point where we need medical intervention. And not all doctors are the same - some are interested in helping, others in getting rich. But there is a third category of doctors - doctors who know the root of all health problems. Some of these doctors came to Poltava from Arizona for the seventh consecutive summer to help those who can not afford the endless trips to the clinic. Most importantly they draw the attention of the patient to the root cause - the problem of sin. Thus, from August 6 to 11 the Lord blessed us with the means to hold a series of charitable evangelistic medical clinics in 11 locations in the Poltava region and including the Poltava itself. Throughout the week, every day, starting early in the morning two groups of health care workers, evangelists and volunteers went from the Christian Center into the villages and towns in the Poltava region, to bring both health care and the Gospel - a healing remedy for sin-weary souls! In all, about 805 people attended the clinics in Poltava, Zenkov, Chutovo, Zavorsklo, V.Rublivka, V.Pavlovka, Udovichenko, Abazovka and Bodakva! There health problems led people to the most important moment in their lives - the moment when they hear about Jesus Christ and have the opportunity to make a decision, repent and receive salvation! In many places people revealed a desire to learn more about God - in the village Zavorsklo a few people expressed a serious desire to study the Bible in a small group!
