Evangelical "Salvation" church exists to ensure that every person living in Poltava and abroad, had the opportunity to hear the Gospel, to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and become His disciple. By this we mean our missionary vocation. To achieve this goal we are trying to use every opportunity to make the gospel of salvation as accessible to those whose soul is not saved. We believe that God always works around us, laboring over the hearts of dying. Therefore, we try to see it, and join the missionary movement of the Holy Spirit.
As the first church, in addition to general service on Sundays, we practice communion of the church in small "home" groups. (Acts 2:46). You also can choose a small group of your age or one that is very close to your place of residence.

"Finding My Dream" was the name of the children's festival that took place on August 20 at the community hall in Zavorsklo. What do children dream of? Of course, each of them dreams of something different, but there is one thing they have in common: they want to do something interesting and fun. Salvation Church, with help from the children's play center "Funny Bunny", put on a wonderful program with games, competitions, a dramatization from the Bible, songs and prizes. Nearly 40 children and 10 adults came to this unforgettable event.
A few weeks have passed since the end of SMS Camp, but the campers are still inseparable. Taking walks together, looking at pictures and sharing memories are the motivations that bring them all together again and again. All of them would probably say with certainty that the best days of the summer were those they spent on the picturesque banks of the Vorskla river near Golovach.
Recently there was an especially colorful and noisy event at the Christian Center. That's not surprising, since between July 21 to 25 the now-traditional camp was held for children with special needs. The name was "The Land of Hope".
"Love one another" is the commandment of Jesus Christ that His bride must fulfill on the earth by telling the world that there is an alternative and that miracles happen that are not publicized on TV or in the Internet. Especially today, when you wake up in the morning not knowing what you might see on the news or even out your own window, the love of Jesus Christ is the "panacea" that everyone can receive.
What kind of person is a real champion? What does it mean to be the best? Which is better: to lose honestly or to win dishonestly? How do you need to live so that you don't just get across the finish line, but so that you get a reward?
These and other questions are what the kids at "Energy camp", tried to answer. The camp was held by Salvation Church near Novi Sanzhary from June 30 to July 9. The organizers prepared a lot of activities aimed at the diverse needs of "diverse" kids.

Sometimes there are situations when you have no choice. How can you get justice without bribes? Besides, everyone does it, so where's the problem? We play so often by the rules of this world that we have started to erase the line between good and bad. We want changes in the country, we strive for righteousness. People fought for this in the protests, even died, but was it worth it?

Everyone who has trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ has the desire in his heart to praise and magnify God. This is the inner nature of a regenerated spirit. From time to time we hear that one church or another has had an evening of praise and worship. People come together with one goal: to praise God. These evenings are usually organized by teenagers or adults, but this time it was children who came together for worship. It was also unusual that this time it was not children from only Salvation church who met, but also from other churches in the city of Poltava: Hope Church, Born Again Church and The Lord's Cross Church.
