"Why do you have to go to church?" ... That was the topic of the latest ON AIR. The young people got together for this on April 8, 2014. We were able to reflect on what the church is and why we should attend. Those two questions were the topic of our discussion. Furthermore, the participants were able to get answers to a series of other questions, specifically:

 

- Why are there so many churches?
- Why do some churches sometimes oppose one another?
- Can a Christian attend any church?
- Can we call ourselves believers and not go to church?
- Why do they collect money in church?.

These questions were raised in groups for discussion. Everyone was free to express their opinions and hear the opinions of others.

In discussing the church, we knew that only the Bible can give us authoritative answers to the questions we are interested in. So, the young people learned that the church is not a building or a temple, but a community of believing people gathered under Jesus Christ as their head. The correct understanding of the nature of the church made it possible to eventually answer the other questions. At the conclusion of the discussion the leaders gave practical advise and encouraged the group to attend a local church.
