The first of April is usually a time when friends play tricks on one another colleagues at work share stories among themselves that most likely are not true. But for us the first of April was a day of lively and fun evangelism in the house of culture in the town of Golovach. Children ranging in age from 1st graders to 7th graders heard the Gospel, sang songs and received a gift from Samaritan’s Purse.

The family is God's idea; he created it for His glory. For this reason it is completely reasonable to expect that he is the one who can explain to us the principles on which the family is built and warn us of the traps that can cause harm and result in its destruction. It's very unfortunate that many of us spend so little time talking with one another in our families. This is only one of many mistakes that happen so often.

Every year the February meeting of SMS club is traditionally devoted to the topic of love. When thinking about romantic relationships, we often notice how different couples describe them in different ways: “we’re just going out”, “this is my guy / my girl”, “we're living together…” Often young people are in no hurry to make their relationships official, turning them into a trial period that is in effect a common law marriage. What's that? A lite version of a serious relationship? A kind of test for love? Or maybe just an indication of your irresponsibility? The SMSers tackled these and other questions on the evening of February 24th.

The purpose of the Center for Missionary Preparation (CMP) at the Kremenchug Regional Bible College is to prepare Christians for individual or team evangelism in the mission field and for planting new churches. In order to provide more effective education and development for future ministry workers, each session is conducted in different regions of Ukraine and beyond its borders.

SMS club is expanding its boundaries. Recently our team visited the city of Cherkassy to share our experience and conduct the first ever meeting of a new club of the same name. The topic of patriotism brought in more than 60 guests. Interestingly, at home to on the 27th of January a patriotically themed evening also brought in a record number of youth. What could be the cause of this lively interest?

New Year's Eve is a time when young people feel themselves in anticipation of something new and unforgettable. And if, in addition, outside an enchanting snow is falling, then there is an even greater desire for a real celebration - fun, interesting, and above all, you're not alone. So you can be sure that those who saw the new year in with the SMS club had no chance of suffering the same fate as little Kevin in that film we all know, though there were, to be sure, a lot of unexpected things.

If there really is a good and merciful God, then why is there so much pain and suffering on Earth? And if there is no God, how can our pointless existence be reconciled with the problem of evil? Humanity has always tried to unravel the mystery of where to look for truth and to find the source of justice. Both skeptics and idealists, when confronted with the most difficult circumstances in life, resign themselves and declare: "That's it! Stop the planet, I'm getting off!" But what about Christians?

Twenty years isn't that much in terms of a person's life, but twenty years with many people continuing in the same ministry, that is an accomplishment!
And the twenty year anniversary of Women's Ministry is what our region celebrated on November 1 at Born Again Church in Poltava.

An evening in autumn, comfort, candles, friendly conversation... The big hall in the Christian Center could barely hold the crowd of about 115 young people who came for the October SMS Club meeting. But you will agree that not all of our evenings are characterized by such carefree happiness or measured, almost poetic silence. Unexpectedly the next season-change melancholy brings unexplained sadness and apathy, and you find that you are not yourself.

The new local church in the village of Zavorsklo near Poltava continues to grow, and the proof of this was the first worship service together in the community center on August 31, 2014.
