New Year's Eve is a time when young people feel themselves in anticipation of something new and unforgettable. And if, in addition, outside an enchanting snow is falling, then there is an even greater desire for a real celebration - fun, interesting, and above all, you're not alone. So you can be sure that those who saw the new year in with the SMS club had no chance of suffering the same fate as little Kevin in that film we all know, though there were, to be sure, a lot of unexpected things.

When guests entered the torch-lit door they immediately found themselves in the noisy party room to the applause of the crowd. You will have to agree, it's not every day you meet celebrities like Minnie Mouse, Bear and Rabbit. And what were our animal friends doing here? This was no ordinary evening, it was a costume party. This was a chance to give your imagination free reign! It's also not that often that you get to see your friends as a snowman or Superman or an elf or a pilot.

We enjoy new things, but the classics are unbeatable. So we started the evening with an original skit inspired by good old "Irony of Fate". The songs and music were also very unique. It surprised everyone when the musicians suddenly changed roles. Then Maya Golovash, whose well known voice now had a L'viv accent, with a tinsel garland instead of a scarf stood at the microphone and promised "all will be well..."

Following our long-standing tradition, as Christians we welcomed the new year in prayer, and as a new tradition, we wrote letters to our future selves, talking about our hopes for the new year. Thanks to the interesting quizzes the partyers were able feel like conisseurs of the most varied musical styles and experts in Ukrainian customs. Of course there was also a festive meal: different types of traditional salads, cakes, fruit, in a word, there were all types of delicacies.

Old friends with new looks is always interesting, so the costume competition was a logical part of the party. The jury applied their sense of humor in judging the costumes and even talents of the contestants, and the winner received a crown, a ribbon and a well earned "atta boy". At the conclusion we shared our plans and wishes for the future. At that point, like never before, we had the feeling that in SMS club we were at home, and above all - not alone!
