The new local church in the village of Zavorsklo near Poltava continues to grow, and the proof of this was the first worship service together in the community center on August 31, 2014.

 

It all started two years ago when Roman Kovalenko and his family decided to start a small group Bible study. This group touched the lives of twenty four adults and twelve children. All of them faced an important choice: to continue with their previous lives or turn and follow Christ. Unfortunately there were few who were firm in their decision; we are continuing to pray for them, because only God knows where their paths will end.

But five continued with us to the time when we were able to come to the morning service. Now you can hear wonderful songs praising God, reflect on the sermon, and come to conclusions about your life, pray for yourself, for others and for Ukraine; bless the children in Sunday School and talk with interesting people...

Praise God, that in this difficult time for our country we have the chance to meet with God's children!
Praise God, that the chairman of the village council is letting us use the community center without charge, and is looking to us to help with the spiritual improvement of the village!
Praise God, that there are workers who are willing to work in the harvest where the Lord calls them!
Praise God, that He continues to seek out people in many different places and save them!
