The family is God's idea; he created it for His glory. For this reason it is completely reasonable to expect that he is the one who can explain to us the principles on which the family is built and warn us of the traps that can cause harm and result in its destruction. It's very unfortunate that many of us spend so little time talking with one another in our families. This is only one of many mistakes that happen so often.

In our busy everyday lives we completely forget about family values and forget that God commanded the husband and wife to be one flesh. It is God's intention that we work with him in reaching his goals, which will also result in a happy family: “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

With God's help, the family ministry team did everything they could to remind the participants of the need for loving relationships in the family and also of the need for friendships with other married couples.

The day of the married couples celebration in our church was a beautiful day, March 7, 2015. From the very start there was a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. It seemed like all of the couples were really one big happy family.
The schedule was full of interesting activities. People really got excited about the contests and the quiz game. And in order to help the couples get to know one another better, there were ice-breaker questions to help them open up more and remember the happy moments of their family life. Our culinary experts were also very skilled in their preparations, using unusual techniques in the kitchen to create masterpieces in the form of beautiful and tasty sandwiches. Another thing that helped create the wonderful atmosphere were the romantic songs and music.

When the celebration drew to its close we got together for a nice family picture.
All of the expectations for the celebration were realised in the best way. All the participants were very happy. In conclusion we would like to say that it is strong Christian families make for a strong church. Don’t miss a chance to take part in a family celebration. You'll be very satisfied and learn a lot.
