For some believers the New Year Celebration as a combination of Christian and ancient pagan slavic traditions and they don't celebrate it for that reason. The rest celebrate it; they just don't see the New Year celebration as a continuation of the ignorant customs of our ancestors, but as an opportunity to stop and reflect on the past year, as well as a time to create a vision for the coming year. In the remainder of the article you will see that the members of Salvation Church belong to the second category, that is, to those who celebrate.

The auction and the sale of home-made treats were the idea of the organizers to raise funds for a rehabilitation center in the village of Bolshaya Rublovka. A cold night in late autumn, hot tea, poetry, music, romantic atmosphere - all of this was combined in one meeting of the SMS Club. The meeting was very different from all the previous ones, thanks to the participation of the young Poltava poets Lubov Goncharenko, Dennis Stern, Roman Povzyk and Andrei Konovalov, who were happy to share their creativity with us.

The title of the article describes the problem of youth ministry, and not only in Salvation Church, though I would like to focus on the analysis of the situation is in our church. Salvation Church, in my opinion, is a very dynamic church; focused and proactive. With a lot of ministries. With a large percentage of people under 28 years of age among its members and involved in various ministries, including SMS-club and teams involved in floorball, Ultimate Frisbee, English club, children's ministry, camp, etc.

On a dreary, rainy autumn day, on October 30th, we had a cozy SMS club :) A lot of music, smiles, new friends, delicious cookies and important truths.
