Perhaps, the greatest number of sermons and articles in Christian journalism on the theme of the Great Commission of Christ. Almost every Christian is able to cite verses from memory of the 28 chapters of the Gospel of Matthew: "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you all the days until the end of the century. Amen ».
Not again this theme? And where? At the regional youth conference?
Why do young people once again reminded that "crocked" in a Protestant environment calls for "the promotion and imposition of" the world's own moral values? We already do it at will and, if possible. Times of the Soviet dictatorship had passed, so do not tell how and what we should do, what to say to whom and where to go.

 Perhaps that is so, dear friend, do you feel about the Great Commission today. We, the younger generation of free Ukraine, is not accustomed to the imperative-prescriptive tone to our address. Possible "to" make us irresponsible internal rebellion and willful opposition. Especially if it is "necessary" is repeated in your church every week several times.

The organizers of the regional youth conference, at the risk of losing a large number of those wishing to visit the planned event, yet chose not popular enough and specific topics for young people - missionary.
This conference was for each participant in a kind of test, the "maturity". Regional Presbyter appeal, Oleg Ivanovich Ovsiya, "Change in shorts pants," that is out of selfish children's problems to get their attention to more adults involved with the ministry of bewildered human souls, aroused mixed reactions among young people. Not all were willing to listen to his address specifically calls for the practical "adult" service of an unbeliever people.

Through a large number of sermons and seminars youth urged to take "adult" decisions about their own participation in the missionary program area and outside it, namely: the organization of new churches in the district centers and villages, to the active assistance of missionaries operating in the establishment of churches and youth service in a particular locality to participate in social projects (next summer will be held in Mirgorod Missionary Festival practical assistance to the population of the city). And for those who are in Ukraine "have nowhere to turn," suggested the possibility of serving on the endless expanses of Russia. The Orenburg Region is open for cooperation with the Ukrainian missionaries. Finally, every young person asked to fill out the form with a voluntary commitment to a year to support the missionary work of the Poltava region. Filled out this form returned only a few (approximately 20 people). But even this figure is an indication that the conference did not pass in vain.
 
Regional Youth Director, Radislav Turcan, shared with us his expectations from the event: "I sincerely expect that young people who were at the conference, overrated place of mission in our Christian life. I expect that someone will respond seriously desire to go into missionary journey at least a week, maybe a year. Expect that the youth festival that takes place in Mirgorod next summer will be a real help from the youth area for Mirgorodska church. I think that wanting to become participants of the festival there will be many. If God gives life and blessing to get to the next year, it was only only then can we really see and appreciate the fruit of the conference ».

In the end, everyone present (perhaps even a young age) Christian must constantly practice in their lives perform the Great Commission of our Lord. There is no difference, how do you join a missionary case: direct service to non-believers, prayer or financial assistance ... not to be indifferent! Our willingness to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world suggests that we "were replaced by shorts pants».
