Greetings to you, brothers and sisters!

First of all, I want to thank you all for your prayers and support of our ministry! We really appreciate it and thank you from our hearts!

A lot of people have been worrying about whether our family will freeze, since we don't really have a roof on the house, or more accurately, there is no permanent roofing, just a tarp. Dear friends , God watches out for us and cares for us in all circumstances. God covered the roof with snow, and thanks to the boards under the tarp, the snow stayed where it belonged and the cold stayed in the attic. God gave us the wisdom to install insulation and it keeps the house quite warm and comfortable. Glory to God!!!

God has blessed us, especially through the Second Moscow Church, and we already have all of the roofing material, and as soon as it warms up a little bit, our friends from Kursk will swing into action. Thank God for His great mercy and care for us. Many thanks to everyone who supports our family and ministry through prayer and material support. Often it looks like drips falling into a cup that finally fill it up. We thank God for all of you!

About our ministry:

In January, of course, the theme of our ministry was "Christmas."

The Poltava branch of the mission "A Letter for You" gave us several hundred calendars and we bought a few more. During the church service I was handing out calendars to our members, encouraging them to give the calendars to their unbelieving friends, and so the whole church became involved in evangelism.

The Lord also blessed us through Salvation Church of Poltava with very beautiful Christmas gift boxes. By God's grace we were able to fill them and give them to all the children of our friends and acquaintances, and of course to the Russian and Roma children of our Sunday School. This is also a blessed kind of evangelism.

On New Year's Eve the youth group decided to go to the town square to see the fireworks. I got the idea to bring along some calendars and New Testaments. Our brothers from the Bethany drug rehabilitation center gladly joined in and in only a few minutes we had distributed all of the material. The young spectators willingly accepted the gifts and thanked us, which we had not expected. One man from our party even approached the mayor and gave him a calendar. Now the men have started to come to the city every Saturday and distribute New Testaments. Praise God!

 

On January 25 we had a wonderful seminar in our church on the topic of "Missions in God's Heart, or, Spiritual Discovery." The seminar was conducted by brother Michael Medianik. Once again, I saw how important it is when different people proclaim the truth. There were 25 people at the seminar, all from our church. Many of them experienced a change in thinking and attitude towards missions. The workshop lasted for 6 or 7 hours. The next day, at the Sunday service, I asked people to share testimonies about the seminar. From that point the entire service became a continuation of the seminar; people shared their spiritual insights and their gratitude to God for the workshop and for the ministry of Brother Michael. Glory to God!

 

 

Prayer requests:

1. Please pray for our family, that we would clearly see God's guidance in our ministry this year, both in our church and in helping other churches in our region.
2. For the remodeling of our house. At this point the biggest expense we have is heating. Unfortunately we have to replace the old boiler and completely replace the old heating pipes.
3. The men participating in the Bethany drug rehabilitation center need to find work. The need for employment is a serious problem for this ministry, and we are seeking God's guidance in this matter.
