Did you know that five women of Salvation Church are expecting babies? Irina Kovalenko, as a mom with vast experience, spotted them all with her keen eye, and together with a team of assistants arranged for a memorable party for these future moms. This festive and very enjoyable event for expectant mothers was held in our church on October 20. Poetry, video clips, games and competitions are only a few of the activities that were arranged for the pregnant participants and their husbands.

It is worth noting that this is the first party for pregnant women to take place at Salvation Church. How wonderful that the church cares so much about the future moms! It was a great encouragement and inspiration to many women to realize that their fellow church members are praying for them and their unborn babies. We would like to encourage all of our readers to pray for these five pregnant women: Irina Reshitko, Karina Bondarenko, Lyudmila Drabinko, Julia Blinov and Oksana Morokhovets.

At the end of the party all those present prayed for a safe delivery, the health of mothers and infants, and for wisdom in parenting. The "culprits" who caused the celebration said they thought this would be a nice tradition for Salvation Church to continue, so Irina Kovalenko and her team are eagerly waiting for good news from more women in the church and would like to invite everyone to participate in the preparation and staging of these events.
