Summer is in full swing, it's time to relax and travel. You can travel on the sea, to the mountains, and, of course, to camp. And that's exactly what we will share in this article: a children's camp that was held in the village of Minovka from July the 8th to the 12th. The village was like any other, going about its quiet business, and suddenly it was full of the noise, running and laughter of 47 children. Through games and Bible activities the children's camp ministry team told the children about sin, God's love, and His wonderful plan of salvation. Surprisingly, some of the parents also started actively helping in conducting the camp. They showed love and concern for all of the children, not just their own.

 

But the most unusual thing for the residents of this village was the presence of the Americans who had prepared some wonderful games and crafts for the children. We often think of children's camp in terms of how it helps children, but this is a misconception. It is equally important for the camp staff. God provided the opportunity for each of the staff members at the Minovka camp to discover their talents in working with the children. There were also people on the team who have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This was their opportunity to learn about Christ and see His love through believing co-workers.

We all agree on this: it is very important to live by the example of Christ, who left glory and took the form of a man to reach out to people and to show His infinite love. Therefore, we need to drop our grownup masks and become children. When we do this the children will understand us and be able to see the extent to which they are precious in God's eyes.
