The rally is taking place from March 17 to 24 of 2013. The participants are former orphans and their parents.More than 80 motivational events are planned for their participation. Seven teams will start their trips from all over Ukraine and end at the Central Baptist Church in Dnipropetrovsk, where the participants and supporters of the eventwill meet. Everyone who wants to will be able to join the concluding worship service through an online broadcast.

 

The Goals of the Rally:

- Draw the attention of as many people as possible, especially church members, to the problem of orphaned children. "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." (James 1: 27).

- Visit and encourage those families who have already committed to receiving and nuturing disadvantaged children in their homes.

- Motivate Christians to open their hearts and homes and show mercy to the orphans, and so to introduce them to the loving Heavenly Father.

- Organize meetings with local authorities and care providers, who can give a more complete picture of the situation of orphans in Ukraine and the related problems.

- Encourage the people of God to pray for orphans, that God will take care of them and made it possible for every child to grow up in a loving family, as it is written, "... Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me" (Psalm 27:10)..

- Ask every Christian to pray for the event and support it in any way possible!

- Adopt a child.
