There may be no other topic as interesting to young people as relationships with the opposite sex. The lack of empty seats at the SMS club theme night on this topic is evidence enough. I don't think that anyone went away disappointed or bored.

 

First of all, we should say that we approached difficult questions such as: "What is love?", "What's the difference between love and being in love?", "How to make the feeling last a lifetime?" with a "cool head." Of course, the evening was not without romantic moments. Still, our main goal was not just to create an atmosphere, but to find answers.

To do this, in addition to the things mentioned above, we prepared some further questions with which to conduct interviews with residents of the city. The Poltavans gave answers that were both profound and interesting, but of course, not exhaustive. As experts we had two married couples - both the Bondarenkos and the Ovsiys have significant marriage experience to share. Using the format of a talk show, they shared the secrets of their family happiness and stressed that without a biblical foundation, no marriage will truly be happy. When two people really know God, then, we can say, their marriage will be successful.

Therefore I'd like to wish for all of us to build our relations on the solid rock of God's Word, and not on the sand of the human fantasies and Hollywood movies.
