An Inter-church women’s meeting was held on January 15, 2011. The event, which was titled "For Sisters Only", focused on the theme: "Our unity in Christ." The purpose of the meeting was to help women to look into their own hearts and to realize their need for one another. The organizers of the meeting showed examples of all sorts of difficult situations in our daily lives and explained how to find wise solutions using Scripture. In spite of bad weather and busy schedules there were 33 women present representing 10 churches.

A joyful and hospitable atmosphere prevailed during the meeting. The fact that the women were of different ages and from different churches didn’t interfere with their lively discussions, games, or the songs they sang to God’s glory. A special Thank You went to the cooks, who gave the meeting the flavor of home and the holidays by preparing good food and setting a beautiful table! This event showed great potential for women’s ministry in our churches, which we hope to be able to continue. Everyone at the meeting agreed to have this type of “tea time” at least once a quarter. Thanks be to God and to the people who supported us in prayer. Praise to Jesus Christ that His desire to see unity among of us is being realized! HALLELUJAH!
