The last two weeks were a great blessing for our church. We were visited by very interesting and dedicated servants of God. It was hard not to confuse each of them with God's angels, because God blessed Salvation Church through them with his message.

The first guests, the Larionov family from Latvia, used wonderful songs and stories to help us all once again rethink our commitment to Christ, to direct our hearts to the Lord and understand that in this world nothing is more important to Him. The Larionov family confirmed the truth they proclaim through their own lives. They left everything to devote themselves to preaching the Gospel and ministry. As a result of their obedience to God, they had to go through difficult times of painful loss...

The next guest, Viktor Mural-Sikorski is a second time visitor, but his story of repentance is such a striking witness of the improbability of God's actions, that it would be a pleasure to hear it even a third time. (video here)

 

The last guest, Peter Vogel, also is also a repeat visitor to Poltava. As a result of his sermon last Sunday on the example of the Apostle Paul, we have a better understanding of God's call to missionary work. But, in contrast to previous visits, Peter came not only to serve us, but also to call us to ministry in his region. It is rather a long way, in southern Russia in the Orenburg region. We are confident that with the Lord, no visit is an accident, and we look forward to seeing new Poltava missionaries as a result.
