Our youth has been sitting too long within eight walls of our house of prayer. That`s why in a heart of them began to boil up slight resentment. “Vova when shall we go somewhere???” sadly asked young people.
Their persuasions and entreaties didn`t come by our team, that`s why on a monthly meeting of people who are responsible for this blessed ministry (youth ministry) it was decided: “We are going to Oposhnya!!!” We chose this settlement thanks to Andrey Hudyakov- brother who has missionary vision for our unbounded region.

This is the main reason why on the 17th of October on Sunday in a half of an hour after finishing of divine service 18 people loaded in a comfortable minibus VWLT38, concerning it`s timely arrival the splendid brother Dmitriy Echkalov took care about it. It should be mentioned that not all of those who wanted to go could do it, because the number of seats was limited.

Guys, don`t be offended and upset, please! Authoritative promise, it was not the last trip!

So about 17.30 according to Kiev time we reached destination. The aims of our trip were communication and encouraging of the youth from this region. I said region, because there were present not only youth from Oposhnya, but also from Zenkiv and Dikanka. So that in total there were 40 of us. The atmosphere was quite cordial from the very beginning as most of the guys knew each other. Jolly games and joint praise has broken the ice. Then was a drama and sermon. The theme was:” Predestination of Christians”. We were talking about fruiting from biblical point of view, about evangelism, good works, and gifts of Holy Spirit.We`d like these truths to burn into the souls of young Christians. And each of them will realize the God`s will for his or her life.

The meeting lasted about 1, 5 hour and then we had a great opportunity to communicate over the tea. It seemed that it was not enough time for the meeting like this and it was really so. But I believe that such trips will become regular and serve for creation and unity of the Poltava`s youth also it could be an encouragement for those small churches with not so many young people as we may wish. So please pray for the youth and development of the ministries for young people in our church and in the churches of the whole region, for the unity among us and for the new opportunities. Let The Heavenly Father be glorified in the lives of young Christians of Poltava region.
