From May to July 10, over 40 young people (44 to be precise) at the age of 15 to 25 years, most of whom attend church "Salvation", staying at youth camp "way Obyavlennya" the river Vorskla, near the village Ternivschyna. It was an unforgettable and blessed time for all of us. God had a special teaching and guarded the youth camp during the week. But all in its turn...

 

For administration of the camp began on Friday evening, the third number. At that time gone from Poltava first machine loaded with things to start breaking tents. Note that the first camp had to be 30 kilometers from where we later stopped near the village Sapozhyno, Novosanzharsky area. But since all the rain the previous week, get there on the flooded meadows we have failed. To not spend the day on resettlement camp deployment had to change very quickly - we worked all night. All this, of course, embarrassed us and made nicely take care, but God is not accidental. Encouraged this view, we started the camp ...

Participants got to camp at about 13:00 the Kiev time:). Near the entrance to the territory they were met coordinator and director, dressed in Ukrainian folk costumes. They presented the first holiday job. The boys had to perform the anthem and eat a sandwich with fat, then made a prayer.

Members had not distribute things as rain began. "Classic":) - smiling, commented on our Simpsons. With sufficient amount of polyethylene film, no tent seriously injured.

And then a lot of sun, water, smiles ... Feature of the camp were well-designed sport and play zahalnotabirni. Everyone could take part in the volleyball tournament, held throughout the camp. Highlight was the game "strategy" (a modified version of "Capture the flag"), to which members of the enduring enthusiasm played two consecutive days, a total of 5 hours. Creative competitions were relevant, namely competition for sand castle, caricature of team captain and the best homemade musical instrument. By the way, that the name of the camp - "The Way of Revelation" - also appeared due to competition for the best name for them. Winners received prizes are sweet as a reward for their efforts

And most importantly ... Each day of rest ended general meeting at which the Almighty Lord spoke to the hearts of young people. Sincere prayer, the joy of unity, the great atmosphere the presence of the Father ... Plus all this, that through the camp, actually, and got the name - a review of Revelation of St. John the Apostle and the entire course of eschatology in general, that taught Antoniuk Valery Stepanovich. The final chord was worship in the church "Salvation" on Sunday, a day after the camp when the youth was able to share the blessings of the church, to survive in the camp. Actually I even could not imagine how it would be cool! Even that 3 nights in a row poured rain, it did not prevent from enjoying the amazing holiday. I was struck communication, and attitude to each other guys that koordynalno differed from the relationship between non-believers. Sermons I discovered so much new that I alone would never have been able dodumatysya before. The songs were so strong that it forced them to rethink. Entertainment was very interesting! And how do we feed ... Hmmm ... It was just a yummy!

Youth Camp (Callahan 2010), in my opinion was very special to many boys and girls from several churches Poltava. Although the first two days of rain, did not forget to visit "krotenkivski territory" God sent the good weather. I think this is a miracle this year in the youth camp.
